It was fun to see her posts

About five or six months ago, a good friend of mine opened a page on Instagram which she called: Club de fan de la Granxeiro (a fan, in singular cause she was the only one, club of my creations). She knows the importance of spreading the work in cultural spaces and wanted to help me a little, aware of my absence in those places.

It was fun to see her posts and I thanked her a lot for her work until geopolitical reality brought us back to the world we inhabit. Before I said anything to her, the idea had already crossed her mind. With Donald’s election it became clear to us where to be and where not to be. It made no sense for a work that, I try to be consistent, to be supporting (yes, media presence supports those media in which you are present) the far right of global neoliberalism on a Zuckerberg’s network.

We immediately deleted that account. Neither Instagram, nor X, nor Facebook, nor the Shit Social Trues of these scoundrels.

From those days, these drawings in my notebook.

By the way… you can now find me in Bluesky (after had been, years ago, in other alternative social media as: JoinDiaspora and Mastodon)
